Goodrich is a market leader in providing a full range of actuation systems for aerospace applications. Their manufacturing site in Bandung, Indonesia, is currently expanding due to continued success.
As part of continued investment in the site, Goodrich ordered three ovens from JLS for the heat treatment of aluminium alloy actuator bodies. The plant consists of two front-loading batch ovens for precipitation heat treatment, and a rapid-quench bottom-loading oven, dedicated to solution heat treatment. Designed and built to comply with the requirements of AMS2750D, the Class 2 electric ovens were recently installed in the new heat treatment shop in Bandung.
